How It All Began:
In 2009, Charlene sat across from Julian in high school health class. It was their freshman year and they quickly became friends. Charlene learned a lot about Julian that year, but the most important thing that she learned about him was that he didn't like to share food. Julian learned just how social, bubbly, and talkative Charlene was.
Julian made it a point to always copy off of Charlene's homework and throughout high school, they had at least one class with each other every year except for senior year. During senior year they didn't see each other as much, but one evening, Charlene received a call from Julian and his friend Jake asking her to hangout. On that night, Charlene and Julian decided to go to Senior Ball together. Sparks flew during Senior Ball and that summer after graduation, they started dating. Julian asked Charlene to be his girlfriend on June 27, 2013 at 8:27PM in downtown Brentwood. 


The Proposal:
After years of dating, Julian planned on proposing to Charlene. He asked for both of her parents' blessing, hired a photographer, custom made an engagement ring with Jacque Fine Jewellery and planned a trip to Disneyland. Christmas time at Disneyland is Charlene's favorite time of the year, so on December 10, 2019 Julian got down on one knee in front of the castle and proposed to Charlene. Julian gave a beautiful speech, but Charlene completely blacked out and didn't remember a single thing he said. They later celebrated with their families. 


The First Wedding:
Covid was at its peak; Charlene and Julian didn't know when the world would go back to "normal." In the month of May, they decided to have a last minute backyard wedding on their anniversary on June 27, 2020. They planned a wedding in the time span of a month with the help of their closest friends and family. They got married at Julian's parent's backyard by his friend, David on a beautiful summer evening. Now they're ready for the big celebration and can't wait to party with all of you!
